The AV8R is the right choice in my opinion. You have all the essential needs as a jet "trainer" should have. Fairly inexpensive start up cost, very easy building design, ease of turbine access, ease of maintenance, PCM support is always there. Did I mention and fun to fly?!?! I had a chance to fly the AV8R of off grass one day and it was a blast. I was very surprised how maneuverable it actually was. Touch and go's all day long. Fuel and go! The conclusion, one great design.
