The testing I did shows that the .061 can swing the 7x3 well enough to almost match a 6x3s' thrust, but the throttle response is terrible and the engines' needle setting is too critical. All signs of an overload. Look at the load factor [Thrust HP program] between those 2 props. I consider a 6x4 too much for the long haul, too. I'm sure some guy will now come flying in with his arms waving saying that all he has ever run are 6x4s and all of his engines are 50 years old, plus he has kept a log book of each and every run since he was 9. Well, some people can smoke 2 packs a day till they reach 90, but generally speaking a 6x3 is the best all around prop, maybe for that plane a 6x2 would be even better? You will see a better low speed range with a 2 pitch, less load on the motor and better all around throttleability.The trade off would be a top speed of about 40-45 mph VS 30-35 mph.
