Default RE: Axe and Blade

Hellion179,

Mrasmm and I are good friends, he has a lot of great advise and is very knowledgable on the Blade Series.. Take what he says, as an informative advantage over others. The CP is a great starting heli, the thing that I may suggest to take into consideration is the Blade CP Pro, a little more money to start with, howerver itt has the advantages of upgrading to a brushless motor and/or a G90 Head Holding gyro as your lever of experience increases. Just food for thought, and think what your long range goal may be, too. I've had many helis over the last 1 1/2 years and the Blade is my favorite. Regardless, what heli you decide on, it can be frustrating at times and can get to be expensive. Supporting your LHS is a good thing, however, we all have to protect our wallets(yuk-yuk). Many parts, concerning there cost are set by the manufature and will not vary, from the LHS or online purchases.. That's for E-flite part numbers only. Many other heli parts are compatible/exact replacements for Blade parts and of lesser cost too.

Good luck and keep us posted, any help, you know where we're at,

Dave / Choppersrule

MrAsmm, as usual I appreciate the advice. I think I'll go with the Blade. I like the looks of it and I like not being limited...even if I never cross those boundaries. It'll be a father's day gift..trying hard to convince the wife to let it be an early Father's Day, lol.
