I took your advice and tried the CA hinges. I got the Sonic Tronic ones with the slot in the middle to help it wick in better. I can't believe how much easier these are to put in! I did a test with one on some scrap and I couldn't pull them apart no matter how hard I tried. I was convinced. I have redone all of the hinges except the ailerons. I am also very pleased with how easily the surfaces move.
