Default How to put Servos in the Tail?

I hear of alot of folks puting servos in the rear of their fuselages in order to eliminate pushrod flex and put the weight towards the rear rather than add lead.

My question is: How do you set it up?
Just cut a square hole to fit the servo and drop it in?
Do you have to glue a hardwood or plywood mount?
or do you just CA or epoxy the wood to strenghten it, etc?

Any tips would be appreciated.
