Do you have a Sim... THAT is the best heli for a beginner... Hands Down!

The reason it is drifting so much is that you are only 3" above the ground. You are getting caught up in the rotor wash and it is tossing you all over the plance. Even after learning to hover in all orientations I have a hard time holding it that low in one place.

I tried a CP heli first... Wanted to give up but instead got a CX to learn the orientations and then G3. Saved a LOT of money. By the time I got back to the CP heli it was still challenging but at least manageable.

Although many people have learned on a CP heli alone. I am not saying you can't do it. but it will take a lot of patience.
