I'm adding my condolences and best wishes as well. There is a saying...."God never gives us more than we can handle" I have personally found it to be true. Your family is in my prayers. Definitely don't give up on your hobby....you've got a great network of friends here willing to give words of encouragement, hope and humor when you need them.
I hope this is ultimately just a bump in the road for you.
