I agree. Current is not constant for a 2400mah battery vs IB4200's or any other comparison. The real fact is cheap batteries will not last long if they don't melt everything on the first run. Inefficient cells will run extremely hot leading to instant failure and they will not provide the amount of current demanded by the motor.

Only run IB or at minimum GP cells of at least 3600mah to prevent battery failure.

It doesn't get anymore straight forward.
