Agreed, so LiPo allow high current which allows high speed.

But then what's all the hype with NiMH packs??? First of all they are very expensive, then you need a special charger for them. And most of all if one cell goes bad you throw away whole pack. At Costco you can buy 2500 Sanyo NiMH AA batteries for very cheap. And you get twice the runtime than these custom NiMH packs. So are these 2/3 NiMH packs just an overhyped scam? In the days when high capacity AA didn't exist there was no choice but to buy these expensive NiMH packs. Why use them these days?
