well, from my experience, my 1320 mah 11.1 v lipo (running a Mamba 8000 Kv mind you, as well as an accessory cooling fan) just about doubled the runtime of my 1400 mah nimh battery. sure the mah are usaully indicitive of longer run times, but when you change its ability to hold, push, pull, and drain power, you also change your expectations of the mah.

so, long story short: my 1400 mah, 7.2v battery, lasts ~ 20 minutes on a decent charge.

my lipo ~ 40 minutes on a decent charge.

my lipo is easily 3 times faster than my nimh!!!!! the car is uncontrollable!! and i love every second of it.
