If you race and have to pit you do not have time to worry about dirt if you want to win! I run the Dynamite Big Daddy Fuel Filter as it has a much better filter and not just a screen. It sure has stopped a lot of dirt in mine the filter in the tank let trough! All so with a filter you have a little more fuel to burn off when on the lid so it does not cut out as soon.
