Default RE: tuning issues

STOP EVERYTING!!!!!!
Did you go through the breakin process?

You should do this...

Take the engine back to factory settings. (or at least richen everything up.)

Then change your idle set screw once again.

Now- Go ahead and make a small adjustment on the HSN. and drive it around. after a couple passes, lean it again, untill you feel you have good performance on the top end. (Hesitation durring acceleration can be many things) So make sure it has stopped doing that.

Once you have the High Speed Needle set to your liking, and you still have a GOOD smoke trail comming at WideOpen and Top Speed, then you can move on to the low speed. Adjustments should always be made in 1/8 turns or less. And for your low speed needle, i recomend making even more suttle adjustments. And give the truck plenty of time to react to the adjustment before adjusting again. Keep in mind that it has to adjust the fuel level in the crankcase before youll notice a difference.

I hope this helps.
