Default RE: Eco 8 setup

hi all i have had my eco 8 for some time now and still not had courage to fly it but i have started to try set her up again after a long break

i have the ikarus sport motor that was supplied with it

i am using a jr 2610 radio

i have fitted a few upgrades as sugested in a lot of forums back when i was assembling it

could someone please help me with a few settings if possible

i can set expo on my tx so i can soften the reactions on tx as i am a bit heavy handed with controls but i am not sure which ones to set

do i leave throttle alone and just set the pitch aerlon and roll think thats what they are called

also i have seen on some videos they set a negative % figure but this was on a futba radio i also saw somewhere but for life of me cant find it now that if you have a jr radio you set a plus figure to soften the controls is this correct ??

i am using a standard 9.6v battery at min

but would like to upgrade to a lippo and a brushless motor and controller any advice please not the very latest as i am on a budget so the cheaper the better as i will not be doing any real fast 3d for a long time

any advice on pitch , throttle curves would be a great help even a base figure for hover and slight 3d settings

as for gyro mine can do normal and heading lock via tx any advice on which would be better for a newb

any help at all much appreciated

thanks
