Default RE: Alternative to Tamiya DMD Unit

I have a Sabertooth 2x10 in my Stuart. It was originally in my HL tanks but I had trouble with it due to the lower voltage of the 7.2 V pack. Worked through the issue with their customer service. When I hit a little resistance the battery voltage would drop below 7 volts which is the threshold cut-off voltage for the Sabertooth. It would reset the system each time. According to them some cards are more sensitive than others and they do not recommend that they be run with a 7.2 V pack although I see a few of you do with success. I put it in my Stuart which has a 12V battery and it has performed beautifully. They are originally designed for 12V based combat robots.
