RE: 1/64"tape for panel lines TF Corsair
I know in the Platt videos, he uses 0.020" tape for his panel lines on the 1/5 birds. 1/32" is a good 50% wider than 0.020". Panels on planes are placed pretty much right next to each other with as minimal a gap as possible, I don't think I've ever seen one more than an 1/8". At 1/8th scale, that 1/32" would equate to 1/4" on the real deal. At 1/5 scale it becomes 5/32" or a bit over 1/8" and that's a pretty big gap. So I think Platt has the right idea for 1/5th scale birds
