RE: Stabilizer Flybar - Shaky CX2 - Is that the problem?
hey man i hope this helps. i also had a bad crash tonight and my blade was vibrating very badly. i took the entire heli apart to check the rotor shaft to see if one was bent cause it seemed to be so. but after rolling them on an absolutly flat surface they were both perectly straight. i then used a straight edge and found that the flybar was indeed just slightly bent. after re-assembling the lil bird and straightening the bent flybar i tested it and i found it to be absolutly shake free. i have to flybar a stock and a modded one that is only 4.5 mm in length. the shorter one is almost completely impossible to bend and give incredible response and control but is somewhat unstable if you dont know how to control it. and i mena unstable as in it isnt to likely to stay in a exact spot in a hover. then the stock flybar gives incredible stability but with a loss of control. i suggest getting a new flybar and using it as your main but when you get froggy then switch to the shorter one for more high flying fun. start out in small increments such as 1/2 inch when trimming your flybar to find the right feel that you like. good luck, chris
