Did you make adjustments on the POT and GAIN? If so, it sounds like your tail motor may be failing. Some last a good long while, some wont last but a few hovers...depends on which batch you get. I always keep one or two spares on hand at all times (or I try to).

Well I had an interesting weekend. Friday nite I tried to hover and that didn't work. Bent the spindle again. I straightened the spindle out Saturday and decieded to trim everything. I got the tail to stay very straight as I spun it up. I adjusted the linkage in the rotor head then did some practice spin ups very slowly. Tonight I was able to hover it for about 5 seconds several times. (small accomplishments). I put in my third battery pack and now the tail when I get it in the air spins. Nothing changed from one pack to the other. I thought that maybe the battery pack wasn't charged enough so I changed packs. Same problem. I tried to initialize several times, no change. The tail motor seems to change speed in the hover causing it to spin. Any suggestions? Did the gyro go bad?
