Check your hinges for damage. I flew my spe40 twice. First flight the left elevator came off. Fixed that. Second flight the right side departed. The engine didn't get a third flight. Plane is a GP giant UDO. Stock hinges doubled. If you have to fly that engine send it to Bielleli and get it balanced. If you had broken the tail instead of the prop could you have landed it safely? were you flying near people?
