RE: axial 32
Whatever dude.. Go surf any number of forums - and it's NOT all just clueless newbs(your favorite excuse...) There are a very few out there who rant on about how great STS engines are - one of whom is a pro-engine modder, the other here being sponsored by them - but there are just so many with major issues, as far as I'm concerned it's incontrovertable..
The fact that it takes TWO gallons just to break in an STS 30, PLUS replacing the carb and O-rings or whatever, you can ONLY run an STS pipe, and even then how long a life are you going to get out of it?? - is just absurd IMO.... And correct me if I'm wrong - but I heard you don't even get a warranty with STS.....
So when I praise Axial engines I'm saying something that you can see backed up all over the place.. When these few STS fanboys praise STS's, it most definitely does NOT fit with what the vast majority with STS's seem to be saying.. - and no, not just the newbs... So this has nothing to do with rubber hammers and anvils... This has to do with the fact that most people want to buy an engine that they can go have fun with - not one they have to screw with at every step of the way so hopefully it'll run right...
And to get right down to it - I'm frankly sick of the trash-talking by STS fanboys.. I like Axial, but I don't go around saying if you don't have one you're clueless and anything else is worthless... But that seems to be the message from anybody with an STS... Why?? Defensive maybe???
