Don't trust the pinch test. That's my advice anyway. If you really want to do it, then yes, you need to pinch the line as close to the carb nipple as you can, it should climb in revs steadily then die after about 5 secs. Really stupid test in my opinion.

fter run oil, 5 drops in carb, then open/close the carb a couple of times. 5 drops in the glow hole, then SLOWLY turn the flywheel with your finger till it's turned over a couple of times. Then replace the glow plug.
