Me too on the Veco .19. Yes, not a great throttle but what I did was to install the throttle from a Sportster .25 along with its muffler. Throttling is now virtually perfect and the engine is real quiet to boot with lots of power. Second flip starts, power to weight to rival any ABC motor. Great motor if you like small planes.
