Default RE: Stabilizer Flybar - Shaky CX2 - Is that the problem?

Some good points Chris;

I bought an adjustable flybar from a guy on E-Bay, I'm hoping that'll help Me with determining the right length.

RCar, You can straighten them yourself. If it is just slightlyt bent; say in the middle out from the hub; use your thumb as support on opposite side and gently bend it straight again; otherwise you will put a second curve at the rigid hub and you made it worse.

If it's bent right at the hub; meaning that it is straight but not with the hub; then don't use any support ant bend the whole thing until aligned and parallel with the other side and hub.

You might buy an extra; I've bent them so bad that I could never get them to fly perfectly again until I replaced them.

When they are bent rather badly; I have a polished piece of marble and hit them with a hammer as I roll it around with the weights off the edge. That gets them pretty straight and also kinda cold hardens the steel so that maybe it will be more springy and not bend the next time.
