I have had both, the 1/5th is way better, stronger, u tune once and that it, easy start, kill switch, cheaper fuel, and they can look just as good. Ya the savage is fast but u can make the 1/5th fast or faster then the savage. Yes it is hard to bash one cause of its size u need a lot of room, but even in the small areas i can kick ass. For the money that your gonna spend on the savage with parts, fuel, upgrades....the 1/5th is better in the end. If you sold the Savage you could get the 2speed kit, a nice ddm pipe, and a better engine. Ya if u sell the 1/5th u will have cash to make the savage strong, but the constant tuning to make it perfect.


To me the 1/5th is so much easier in the long run, just my .02
