It's really odd that you cannot get them off when you want to, BUT, they fall off by themselves when you want them to stay on. I bought a liquid called "Goo Gone" at the hardware store. It is supposed to dissolve sticker glue, gum, etc. It works pretty well. It smells like WD-40.
