First, I'd suggest you run the thing and see how it does. If it behaves like you think it should, why mess with it at all? Nothing wrong with 'up-grading' if it needs it, but if it doesn't, then whats the point?

Well its only coming with a motor and the hardware, prop, shaft etc.. As far as I understood anyway. So I assume I will need to get a ESC, batteries and drop in 2 servos..

Yep I am buying it from Vett I have always admired all the boats he has posted here and other forums and I finally decided I couldnt pass up another and I've been wanting a scale lobster type boat for years now just never wanted to buy a kit and try to build it myself because I know where it would end up, in the garage or basment on a shelf collecting dust..
