I soloed almost four years ago and have moved on to sport aerobatics and sport scale but kept my Avistar. I have always been VERY glad I did. It`s great to have a familiar plane to just go fly easy circuits with the occasional loop, role, cuban 8 , etc. when the mood hits you. In addition to being a spare, I`ve found it to be valuable in becoming accustomed to new fields ( moved a couple of times ). Believe me, when you`re learning to fly a new field,it`s great to have a plane that you`re completely familiar and comfortable with!
