RE: starting system
I started out with E Z Start on my T-maxx as my first truck. I have to admit it was pretty convenient and it never failed on me. It does weigh a bit but it was cool, then I bought my Savage 25 with the roto and it was my first time using an ignitor. I found it slightly less conveniant but nontheless it doesn its job without failing either. Then I bought a Sirio .18 for my Maxx which was pullstart only.... Oh boy lol..... First day during break in my hand was so blistered it was completely red, thats cause I wasnt used to it but nowadays its pretty cool. I prime it with 5 quick tugs, and stick the igniter on and it starts in 2 pulls cold. I like how conveniant it is since your only carrying the ignitor, I hate worrying when I go bashing away from home that my Roto batteries will die on me[:@] What sucks is that most of these 7.2V starter batts are NiCad and they lose they capacity after about a year or so and I dont feel like buying new ones. Ive had every type of starter, thats MO on this topic, Tom.
