RE: gas fuel with glo plug no ignition
Mine is one of the BME modified Super Tiger .90 engines, so I don't know what all he does inside. (I didn't take it apart.) I know you can't run a needle bearing directly on the crankpin though, as it isn't hard enough.
It's an 11mm Walbro carb on it. It came with a Zama, but I had trouble with two different diaphragms in the Zama swelling up in the Gas/Glow fuel. I've never encountered this with the various types of Walbro diaphragms. So I switched to a Walbro carb and no more problems.
The Walbros are physically slightly larger however, and I had to do a little grinding here and there to get it to fit. Runs great on Gas/Glow. 11,700 rpms on a 13 x 6. I put it on my Twist 60 and it's a rocket!!
