The travel is there for a reason and it means a hell of a lot on a 2 wheel drive. Who ever it was that said springs don't matter that much is a absolute idiot. springs and shock oil weight mean everything. What you need to do is get into the forums and really dig because there is a wealth of information that is great. There are also magazine publications on set up that is probably your best bet. In the forums there is just about as much bad as good. It would take me an hour to explain set up properly and I don't have that kind of time to waste here when you could find it.
