Peer pressure at the field is crazy. Hardly anyone had a Saito when I bought my first one, so I was on my own. Now, I think there are as many Saitos as OS 4 strokes. There are a couple of die hard OS users, but they have been using those since back in the day when they were quality engines. There is one guy who has a bunch of YS engines, but he is one of the rare people who can tune them and keep them running without repair issues.

The best thing for you is to take the flak from the club 'experts' and learn to tune your Saito here. You may see more Saitos show up at your club like at mine. I'm having problems with an OS user now who is a good friend. He refuses to acknowlege that my Saitos run and tune differently. Once you get all of the 'hangs of it' with your Saito you will do just fine on your own.
