No question they are very light. Part of the design. It is kinda fragile to handle (however I seem to hear it crack on handling, but no problems) but it flys as light as anything in the sky. I've learned to not fly mine fast and to spend extra care on landing (I don't even beef up my landing gear anymore) and it is holding up excellently.
