Yeah, two or three flips with the choke shut and the throttle cracked and they start momentarily. Then choke open and a few flips and away it goes. Sometimes in reverse though. If that happens more than once, I get aggravated and grab the starter and off it goes immediately in the correct direction. Sometimes a back flip against compression will get it going in the proper direction. Be careful because if it takes off in reverse with much throttle opening it can move backwards on you if it's the plane is not restrained in both directions. Once they are started, subsequent starts are usually one flip.
