My neighbors hate you guys. I couldn't wait till this afternoon so I mixed per your formula with a new fplug and gave it atry. Spinning with a starter after choking it fired right up ! Surprised me and everybody else in the neighborhood. I didn't want to push my luck and create a neighborhood incident but ran long enough to see it would idle about 2000 without battery on plug and turn over 7500 with a 17-6 probably wrong prop.
What have you found your carb adjustments to be ? At idle I did notice a considerable decrease in rpm when igniter was removed.
