RE: 1/64"tape for panel lines TF Corsair
Jeff, sorry for the delayed response. I just got back from a trip to Hawaii.
No, I don't leave the tape on. I guess the better description is to say that I mask off what will be the lower panel. The higher panel is then built up with primer. For a thicker panel lap, I use two layers of tape to mask the lower panel and use auto spot putty to build up the raised panel. Once dried, the mask is removed.
