Axe on order...a couple of questions
Having been fascinated with helicopters for a long time and a long time RC fan (4x4 trucks), i took the plunge and ordered an AXE and the RF 3.5 simulator (research on this forum indicates, in the long run, the simulator saves money[sm=thumbs_up.gif].
I have a question for this knowledgeable group of enthusiats:
I live at 6500 feet in Colorado. I know, at this altitude, RC planes (and real ones, for that matter) are dramatically affected by the lower air density. Do any of you fly your Axe at this kind of altitude and, what kind of results can I expect. Can 3.5 be set for altitude?
Also, how helpful is the 'instructional' dvd that comes with the Axe?
Thanks and I'm excited about getting involved with this!
