Yes, I've been using the Align pinions for a 3.17mm shaft motor and they work fine on the 36. Regarding the linkages and levers...it's a good idea to disconnect them from the servos and move them manually to check for binding. Both the 'Steering Holder' and 'U-Shape Connector' can bind if the screws are too tight...same thing with the mixing levers.
