Default RE: Engine Picking??

ORIGINAL: JB COMP

No manufacture makes 100% perfact engines theres always going to a few bad ones your going to run into and have problums, and did you talk to STS and see if they would replace it?

I hav heard a few bad things about the LRP aswell, one guy said he could only get 5mins on a 150cc tank. I can get 8 running break-in setting on my STS 30.
I wasnt tring to bash the STS.
No i didnt talk to STS about it. It was a tester engine from a US distro that was carrying them. I didnt even bother, at that time i was liking the SH .28's low end...

Your friend that only got 5mins from his tank... He needs to do some checking. Even with an engine running as rich as it can, i dont see it burning that quickly. i dont believe it to be physically possible to keep the enigne running when tring to push that much fuel through it.. maybe he should check for leaks? both engine and tank?
Im running a smaller tank than that and get good times from a full tank.

And as always personal preference plays alot. nitro engines are soo damned finiky.

How many ports is your .30?
