I heard someone else at my LHS with that problem. The guys at the shop said the CNC tail support conducts the electricity from the tail motors down the CF boom to the servos. Whereas, the stock plastic tail assembly creates a buffer. Sounds good in theory, but not 100% as I've never done the dual tail or cnc motor mount or personally encountered that problem.

yeah, I just picked up my S from the shop. She flies great! Guess, I'm getting pretty good as the heli guy didn't even charge me, he said he really didn't have to do anything except for a couple programming changes in the DX7 because I flipped the servo around to the right side of the tail boom.
