lmy lrp will be arriving anytime soon!!! i am excited!!!!

Good choice. The Picco is an excellent engine, but it costs more, and any advantage it might have in power delivery is wasted unless you have the truck setup to take advantage of it. The better build of the Picco might equate to another gallon or so of fuel before it gives up the ghost, but if you aren't an experienced nitro tuner then you probably won't be seeing the max service life out of either one anyway.

As far as power delivery, the Picco seems to pull more like the LRP spec 2... just with more topend.
we drag raced a Picco P3 vs Spec 3 in truggy... in a truggy you can really see the power difference, the P3 is a fair bit faster, with a much crisper throttle feel....

but i do agree in a normal Savage you wouldn't see the difference.. explosive bottom end is not something that can be utilized in that chassis.

Another big difference between the two motors is modding potential for those who want a modded motor, the Picco has alot more flow cpacity then the LRP, and will ultimately gain more from modding... The exhaust port of the Picco is much larger then the Spec 3.
