The boat I'm building is 48 inches long
and no it's not a Dumas kit, completely scratch built. That's why it makes it little bit harder for me.. for room, I have 5 inches high, by 11 inches wide and length wise not a problem. I'm not looking for racing performances but an overall good speed and torque. and for the displacement hard to say I've just started checking it out. I just happened to see a boat at a hobby shop in Ottawa that had an engine that looked like a weed whacker and was looking in to it tonight.

Would you have any recommendations ??
