I have used this method to build my Ferdinand / Elephant Tamiya KT conversion.

And most recently my Jagdpanther HL Tiger1 conversion.

I used a Tile print software to do my enlargements.
I scaled the drawing to the overall track length from front to rear or a length without gun.
