Teflon is good on plastic like mrasmm says. For bearings, I use synthetic, not 3-1 household oil. Synthetic provides 3 times the protection then 3-1. The difference between synthetic and 3-1 is, night and day. Your manual has all the bearing locations. I usually lube my model after 10 to 15 flights.
