CP Gyro Issue
I haven't messed with my CP in soo long, so I decided to get it out of the box and play with it. Once I did I remembered I hadn't messed with it in so long because it had a bad wobble in the head. I changed two main shafts, spindle, and various other things only to try two new blades today and that fixed it. Easiest(yet still most expensive thing) to try and I never did.
But I started over, from scratch, and trimmed the CP out. I turned to gain all the way down and set the proportional, and flew two flights on it, each about 10 minutes, all the way through a battery, just to get an approximation of how the trim shifted and overall affect throughout the batteries life. I got that figured out and then I got to the gain. As soon as I turned the pot just a tiny bit, the tail came to life at no throttle and half trim and wouldn't shut off. I thought about it and thought maybe I could have nudged it one way while it was initializing. Tried again, same thing. So I held onto the skids and turned the gyro up more, now the tail went even harder. Then I figured I would turn it off, set the gain a little, and just spool it up. Once again, it just spun in circles. Then I checked to make sure I was setting the gain, not the Proportional. I was. So I'm stumped. What am I doing wrong?
I also included some pictures in case anyone spots anything wrong with my setup.
