Default RE: Using a 7CAP for a Heli

ORIGINAL: impalacustom

I was curious if anyone was using the airplane version of Futaba's 7C for their Heli? I am sure it is possible but not sure if all the options are there like the ccpm and gyro setup. I am going to give it a try and would like to know if anyone has done it and what the results were. I will try to keep everyone updated.
The "A" versions have bumpity throttle movements where the "H" version has smooth movements. This is something you don't notice very much until you start flying helis and then you get frustrated because the stick position you need is between bumps. Of course, you can convert an "A" model to smooth movements with little effort.

The firmware is the same ... so makes no difference there.

Some functions change switch locations between "A" models and "H" models but all functions are there.

There may be a little difference in the servo/RX/Batteries packed with the TX.

Other than that ... they're the same.
