Default depron rigger- homemade

im nearly finished my small vee and thought i'd like a little rigger to go with it!
i've always liked the renegade rigger but not ever gonna have the ££ to buy it!
then i saw GHOST 2 and thought that really goes so i'd have a go at a renegade style one but its got to be scratch built.

So far i've ordered a BL motor 3400Kv outrunner
20c 2200 lipo
and depron i already have
i've gone for a 14" tub with 6 1/2" sponsens
got to make the strut and rudder-in 0.031" brass probably
i ve added a few pictures of my progress so far the sponsens arnt glued on yet.
how much water clearance should i look for under the tub area or at the back by the strut??

the sponsens are 4 layers of 6mm depron layered up and 2 layers to give the angled outer face(sanded to shape) and then skinned with 0.8mm ply
the tub so far is just 6mm depron- maybe i'll skin that with ply as well?
