Default RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36

hey thanks Orion, the tape here is fluorescent orange.. and of course my tailfeathers are hot pink.. he he. I just love to know where my tail is that's all. By now we know controlling the tail rotor perfect is paramount. Beginners out there here's your tip... be prepared to yank the tail a lot.. it's the key to controlling these Rotary whacking machines... he he. So there. This is my story and I'm sticking to it.

I should be flying again tomorrow. Finally. Even if it's windy I don't care. Thanks again Orion

PS I forgot to answer your other question.. I did it by hand with a dremel tool. And a file. And I drill... mostly handmade. But it didn't take too long. G 10 is super fantastic to work with. I actually prefer It over carbon fiber. Carbon fiber conducts electricity. This product does not. It also produces less noise because of this. Frequency noise. My Nitro 60 sized chopper is all g 10 .. reading about the product manufacturer talked about how quiet the material is for not producing any frequency noise.. improving radio reception by not experiencing frequency noise from vibration.sold me.. it seems to work.. never had a glitch not once not ever.. besides it's a great product to work with. Carbon fiber is fine to I guess. Both products are space-age. And lightweight.

have a great day
