If you think that this batch of stuff is gonna get you started in RC Heli flight, I'd let him keep it. Like the other guys are saying, getting parts etc not gonna be worth it(in my opinion). GMP,the 154 gyro,....all sounds like the early 80"s. I would not use 507 servos for ANY size nitro heli-unless it was on throttle. Go for a trex or Raptor. IF however you LIKE nostalgia, buy his stuff and some of MY stuff----I got old schluter heliboys from back when I learned, back when we had NO gyros, NO rudder anti torque circuitry, and collective was mechanically mixed on-board using an airplane radio and only 4 servos!! Oh BOY! those were the days.............
