Another long time Mac dude here dreaming of a native rc flight/car sim.
BTW, has anyone nabbed Parallels 3.0 yet and tried a sim on it?
I did, and tried Phoenix RC in it. No go. It actually got all the way to the point of displaying the scenery, and then froze. Parallels 3.0 only claims "limited DirectX 8.1 support", so any sim which requires DirectX 9 support, such as Phoenix RC or RealFlight G3.5 probably can't work. AFPD uses OpenGL instead, which Parallels 3.0 has better support for. The release notes for Parallels 3.0 list AFPD as one of the apps known to work. ClearView also apparently works. I haven't heard whether they run noticeably slower than when running them natively under Windows though.
