Default Harrier .46 note

Just thought I'd drop a note on my first flights with a seagull Harrier 46. I powered it with a Super Tigre .60 and am turning a Zinger Pro 13X4 prop. Extremely nice setup and match. One thing I did find is it needs some motor offsett. I'm mounting a 2 1/2 degree shim. The plane hovers very nicely and verticle exit from a hover with the ST .60 is not with authority, but with aggression! The plane balanced per the manual is a good bit nose heavy when rolled inverted. I have everything at the back of the cockpit. I was pretty sure I needed to put the battery back in the tail somewhere but didn't want to cut into that beautiful covering job. Still, its going to be needed so I'll access the bottom and build a platform for the battery in the back.

Harriers are of course very nice. Got to get the thrust issues corrected before I can do alot more, aileron and rudder trim required to deal with the thrust issues prevented that yesterday. Nice combo though. The G case Super Tigre's generate an aweful lot of torque and really work out quite nicely in the 3D realm.

Anyway, just wanted to post in case someone is doing the plane. Good idea to wedge the motor mount from the getgo.
