When I bought my Axe I was a bit disappointed with the unreasonable short time of 5 minutes using the stock green batteries. After doing some reasearch, I made the jump to LiPo technology and purchased (2) Thunder Power 1320 11.1 v 3 cell batteries. Along with those, I bought the Accu-Cycle Elite charger so I could charge both my LiPo's and my stock green peas. I get about 13 mins of solid filght time now and the irony is that once I was complaining about not having enough time, now I'm paranoid about running too long for fear of buring out my motors. After a flight on the green peas, the motor temp is around 126. After a spin with the LiPo's, my main motor is about 158. That's the highest it's ever been. That tail motor gets up to about 99. What's the safe temp range on the electric motors.

I'm diving in head first with these Heli's and these have me hooked far worse than my rc car. All I wanna do is Fly, fly fly!!
